Sherry Thomas There are few challenges greater than providing addicted individuals and families with the services, resources and tools they need to live drug-free healthy lives and achieve economic self-sufficiency. Veritas serves a diverse population in New York City and upstate in Sullivan County with programs that heal the root causes of addiction: Quality comprehensive treatment restores self-esteem and enhances the quality of life overall.

In the next year we are enacting our Strategic Plan. We are expanding staff training and development; improving and expanding our community relations; improving our space and facilities; providing more in-depth screening for co-occurring disorders; and increasing our research efforts on long lasting outcomes.

These tasks can only be accomplished with the continued dedication of the Veritas staff that works with clients every day and our committed supporters without whom this work would not be possible. With a highly motivated team of executive managers and support from all stakeholders, we are moving forward to meet and exceed the goals outlined in our strategic plan.
